Why I became a Pastry Chef? I've always loved cooking and baking with my Grandma & my mom. Growing up we would always watch all the cooking shows after school or on the weekends. My favorite was the dessert episodes or shows. I love how it was such an art form to make pastries or specialized desserts.

Did I always want to be a Pastry Chef? Actually No, I wanted to be a graphic designer originally. My 1st major was going to be art or digital art. Yes, I was an artist first. I loved drawing. I took all the art classes in school - pottery, photography, drawing, different medias of art.

Why did I start Little Spoon Creations? My previous online bakery after culinary school was "Madd Hatter Pastry", which my Pastry Instructor from culinary school helped me start. I loved it but it was hard. I didn't have the means or space to fulfil orders. After 2 years, I decided to just bake for family & friends. I worked for several bakeries after that to gain more experience and knowledge. After a work place injury sidelined me and I had to make the hard decision to retire from baking. I baked here & there for family & friends. But baking started picking up when my family and work friends started sending me requests. And before you know it, I was back in business. I decided to reignite my passion. And here we are!
